National Day of Prayer; Perspective of Salvation in the Field

PRAYER WARRIORS;

Please unite in prayer for the conversion and protection of America! I was thankful to finally get ahold of my friend in AL whom I lost touch with over the tornado devastation. They finally got power yesterday and I was able to talk on the phone to her. A warrior for the unborn, and a very weary soldier in the field of souls, she and I marvelled over some things that must be shared:

This past week, much history was in the making. Natural disasters crippling parts of our nation, the historic capture of OBL, the beatification of JPII, and probably much more. We are witnessing major events, and huge acts of God in nature and within the hearts of man. But because of that, we have much to keep us on our knees. Please join in prayer today, this National Day of Prayer.

Please keep in mind these thoughts:

+On Divine Mercy Sunday, we witnessed justice of the two greatest contrasting figureheads; John Paul II, the epitome of the Culture of Life, and Osama Bin Laden, the epitome of the Culture of Death. I find there to be no coincidence that both events occurred on Divine Mercy Sunday. Divine Mercy is all about justice, and salvation.

+My friend told me that the tornado victims in Tuscaloosa were roaming the streets aimlessly for hours in shock, and could not process the destruction of the tornado, their loss, nor what to do. She said people who have been spiritually asleep all this time, are not able to handle chastisement whatsoever or what it means.

+She said we must pray to the Holy Spirit now, specifically for the gift of understanding, and for them to know that God loves them and is trying to wake them up and save them! May they only see and know the love of God with the hands reaching out to hold them, love them, and help them.

+My heart tells me that we also must pray to the Holy Spirit for the removal of blindness in the USA. People are blind with revenge about OBL, which is understandable to a degree, but Christians are called to rise above it, and stop perpetuating the hate and work for peace now. It is time to rebuild, in both cases, a new generation grounded in the love of God, with the Gospel of Life in our hearts.

+Congress passed yesterday an historic pro-life bill that de-funds taxpayor abortion!! We must pray now for the Senate to uphold this vote, and not ruin/block this with their majority of pro-aborts and PLINOs (prolife in name only, as I call them, they rarely vote prolife, but get elected by promising they will vote prolife). Pray and fast, and contact your senators!!

+It is crucial at this time, to call upon The Queen of Peace, and the Prince of Peace, to help us know peace, keep peace, and live peace. In this way we will spread peace. I was given a profound book about peace and spiritual warfare. It is called "Searching For and Maintaining Peace", by Fr. Jacques Philippe. Get it and read it if you can. If not, just offer up all daily duty and prayer...for peace.

+My friend is convinced that when Pope Bendict visited England and said Holy Mass there, that something huge in the spiritual world broke loose upon the earth. England holds deep roots to Freemasonry. It also is where the church split in the 1600s. Please pray about this and part of this spiritual "breaking loose" will be to invite and summon angelic help to carry out the rest of God's plan in areas that humans cannot fathom.

+So continue to call upon the Holy Angels to BIND up what has been loosed from hell upon the earth. The St. Micheal the Archangel prayer is powerful in this regard. And remain diligent with Divine Mercy devotion. Pray that angels will be granted great power to do good with our prayers and begging for their intercession and help. Do we not all find it confounding that despite all the massive international disasters, that there has not been more loss of life? She said that the south is buzzing with story after story of miraculous survival. Being from Kansas and having these type of tornados as a part of life here, we have witnessed much of this as well.

+I find it fascinating that Pres. Obama supported the National Day of Prayer this year. Despite his motivations, even he does not realize the power of this act. Bring down the grace of God! Recognize and thank God for his Almighty Power!

One last thing. I recieved a tidbit from a relative, who was looking up the definition of warrior for a research project and was so blown away with the description he forwarded it. I am pasting it below. Read it and tell me it doesn't confound you with accuracy...

Emmauel, God is with us!!

"The most radical and elevating affirmation of the value of every human being, was made by the Son of God in his becoming man in the womb of a woman." Pope John Paul II

The true definition of what it means to be a warrior—or possess the warrior mindset— eludes most people. That’s because humans have a natural tendency to define all things by reducing them to the simplest most easily digestible level. The oversimplified definition of a warrior is merely a fighter, a member of an organized military or fighting force or simply a brute or barbarian. While a warrior might be a fighter or part of a military unit, mere membership does not make one a warrior . . .
A true warrior possesses a mindset or an ethos that guides his daily action in all things, not just conflict. A warrior understands and accepts that life is conflict and that overcoming conflict requires effort on his part. This effort may involve a physical confrontation and force of violence. He accepts this and prepares his mind and body for the conflict.
Both the warrior and pacifist desire peace. The warrior desires peace and stability so that his family may grow and prosper and his community may thrive. The warrior realizes that peace is not simply the absence of conflict but the presence of victory over those who would harm his family and destroy his community. He understands that his strength and arms are gifts from God and with these gifts come a solemn responsibility. The warrior does not take this responsibility lightly.
The pacifist sees peace as a lack of conflict or war, but life is conflict and denying this truth does not make it so. When conflict arrives at the pacifist’s door he has no recourse for he is unprepared and weak in his mind and soul. Only after the wolf is eating his young the pacifist cries out for the warrior to come and save him. A warrior understands that only the strong can give mercy. The weak are helpless and in no position to be merciful.
A warrior prepares his mind and body for conflict and arms himself in a vain hope that he will not need those arms. A warrior fiercely protects his own life, for if his life is lost, who will protect his family? The warrior values his family, his community, and his nation. He swears a daily allegiance to their protection and preservation. He is a protector of life, not a death worshipper.
A warrior sacrifices and makes hard choices. While his peers are lounging, imbibing in spirits and chasing after the fairer sex the warrior is sweating in the training arena. The warrior doesn’t need to be forced or coerced to train and hone his skills. He understands that the edge of the finest sword will eventually dull if not honed properly.
The warrior walks quietly amongst the masses ever armed and ever vigilant. The warrior seeks not fame or glory. He seeks neither the approval nor the support of the pacifist. His only request is to be unhindered by the sheep.
The warrior’s reward comes from a deep sense of accomplishment and purpose, the smiling faces of his family and prosperity of his community. Warriors seek out like-minded individuals and only in their presence dare to relax. The warrior relishes the kinship of his fellows and he recognizes them as his brothers.
